My paintings relate to truth and fiction as an intertwined whole with humour and darkness coexisting on the surface utilising titles as a means to extend this position.
I am interested in the magic of the space between the experiences, not visible to the naked eye. Landscape has always been my anchor and place of security, exploiting it in my work as a point of escape.
This recent body of work is heavily influenced on becoming a mother, menopause hormones - at the same embracing the daily focusses, fog, and fullness of the experiences.
